How Can You Donate?

Here are the many ways you can support and participate in the Auction:
  • Donate an item to the Live or Silent Auction
  • Make a cash donation
  • Advertise in the Catalogue
  • Become an Auction Sponsor
  • Purchase Tickets
As well, you may make your donation from
  • Your family
  • Your business
  • A group gift with other parents and friends
In order to continue the success of this annual event, we need the support of our entire community. Afraid this isn’t your scene? Why not make it your scene by inviting your friends and joining us this year. Every donation counts, small or large, and you never know, you might enjoy yourself!

Last years donation deadline was May 1, 2024.

We are here to help. Please feel free to reach out to Tracey Scott in the Office of Community Relations at auction@cds.on.ca or (905) 833-3640. We would be happy to help you make a decision as to what is the best fit for your family or business.

Thank you for your support!

"At last year's Auction, we launched the Dream Together Campaign and our plans for a new Fieldhouse to replace our aging Cyclone Dome. This year, we are asking even more CDS families to dream along with us in order to make this dream a reality."

Become a Sponsor

We have SOLD OUT the last 2 years, and we anticipate the demand for tickets to be very high again this year. To guarantee your tickets, before individual ticket sales, we encourage you to consider becoming a sponsor for this fabulous evening.

The benefits of sponsorship are numerous and vary depending on your level of commitment. And, a portion of all sponsorship opportunities will receive a tax receipt, according to Revenue Canada Guidelines.

Once you have reviewed the sponsorship levels and their benefits, register your sponsorship and guarantee your tickets.

Advertising

Advertising is a fantastic way of promoting your business and the Auction catalogue is the only location to advertise to the CDS community. Your ad will reach a target audience that your business may not have had the opportunity to be exposed to previously.

Land Acknowledgement

The Country Day School wishes to recognize and acknowledge the land on which the school operates. Our nearest Indigenous Nations are now the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and the Chippewas of Georgina Island. The Dish with One Spoon Wampum covenant is often cited as an example of the shared responsibility for caring for these lands among the Huron-Wendat, Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee peoples who would call these their traditional territories. CDS respects the relationship with these lands and recognizes that our connection to this land can be strengthened by our continued relationship with all First Nations, by acknowledging our shared responsibility to respect and care for the land and waters for future generations.
