Dylan – Grade 9
“The thing I like most about CDS is the tight-knit community. Everyone is very supportive and kind (both teachers and students) and there is all kinds of opportunity to learn inside and outside the classroom.”
Dylan has attended CDS since Grade 3 and considers himself lucky to be involved in so many activities, Concert Band being the main one. “The Music Department has amazing teachers who are willing to help me.”
His advice for newcomers is to keep an open mind about trying new things because CDS has lots of opportunities to help its students discover new passions.
Dylan’s favourite classes are Geography, Math and Band. He typically spends 1-2 hours on homework and plays outside volleyball on the weekends.
