Kevin Caspersz '96 attended Queen's University where he started in Life Sciences and then switched to a psychology major, graduating with a mix of physical and social science courses, and also played rugby in his fourth year. Initially considering a career in medicine after graduation, he decided to change paths and knew on his first day at the Ave Maria School of Law in Ann Arbor, Michigan, that he was in the right place. Called to the New York State Bar in 2005, he initially practised as a foreign legal consultant in Ontario before being called to the Ontario Bar in 2008. He then gained experience in commercial, civil and class action litigation before joining an exclusively family law practice, Shulman and Partners, in 2013. He continues to practice solely in the area of family law, now as Managing Partner of Caspersz Chegini LLP in Vaughan. Outside of work, Kevin and his wife, Shereese, keep busy raising their three wonderful children.
