Peter Neal ’81

Peter Neal ’81 is one of our CDS Original Alumni, having attended CDS from 1979-1981 for Middle School, and is the Fo-Founder & President of Neal Brothers Brands. During his second year at Bishop’s University in 1988, Peter and his brother Chris started a fledgling food business making croutons out of their mother’s kitchen in Aurora.

In the early 90s, Peter and Chris started a distribution company representing other natural and specialty food products. The rollout of Neal Brothers tortilla chips and salsa, what they are best known for, followed shortly after. By the late 90s, Neal Brothers’ products became a fixture in the snack food aisles of retail stores such as Loblaws, Sobeys, Longo’s and Dominion. The namesake line now contains ten different product lines with over forty different unique items including Crank Coffee. Along with many organic products, it features non-GMO products, various naturally gluten-free options and many items suitable for a plant-based lifestyle.
