We are excited to share two upcoming opportunities for Senior School students to learn more about pursuing higher education beyond Canada.
On-Campus UK University Visits:
Representatives from two distinguished UK universities, the University of Bristol and the University of Leeds, will be visiting our school in the coming weeks to provide valuable information about their programs and the experience of studying abroad.
The University of Bristol representative will be here on Friday, April 25th at 11:45 AM.
The University of Leeds representative will be visiting on Wednesday, April 30th at 11:45 AM.
These sessions are particularly beneficial for students in Grades 10 and 11 who may be interested in exploring direct-entry programs in fields such as Law and Medicine, among other diverse academic offerings. Early next week, a Google Form will be sent to students, allowing them to sign up for one of these informative sessions.
Global Futures: International University and Enrichment Fair:
In addition to our on-campus visits, we would also like to draw your attention to the Global Futures : International University and Enrichment Fair taking place at the Toronto French School on Sunday, April 27th, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM.
This fair offers a fantastic opportunity to meet representatives from a wide range of international universities and enrichment programs. It's an excellent way for students and parents to explore various educational pathways beyond Canada and gather information from multiple institutions in one location.
The fair is open to the public, and no pre-registration is required.
We encourage you to discuss both these opportunities with your students and support their exploration of global education pathways. These events provide valuable insights into the diverse options available for their future studies.

The Country Day School wishes to recognize and acknowledge the land on which the school operates. Our nearest Indigenous Nations are now the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and the Chippewas of Georgina Island. The Dish with One Spoon Wampum covenant is often cited as an example of the shared responsibility for caring for these lands among the Huron-Wendat, Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee peoples who would call these their traditional territories. CDS respects the relationship with these lands and recognizes that our connection to this land can be strengthened by our continued relationship with all First Nations, by acknowledging our shared responsibility to respect and care for the land and waters for future generations.
Founded in 1972, The Country Day School is a co-educational private school offering programs in JK-12 and located on 100 acres north of Toronto in King.
