We are so excited to announce that tickets for the Boots & Bids Dinner & Auction 2025 will go on sale in two short weeks on Wednesday, February 26th. If you have not secured your tickets through sponsorship, we encourage you not to miss out on buying your tickets, as only a limited number are still available and will be sold on a first come basis beginning at 10:00 am. A few Sponsorship tables are available if you are still interested.
In the meantime, there are many areas of Auction that we are seeking support. The first is by donating an item - the Auction features more than 150 Silent Auction items and approximately 10 Live items. All of these items are 100% donated by our community. With this level of support, 100% of the funds that are raised from each and every item is donated back to CDS. Items can be donated from your family, a business, friend or local place you frequent. The physical items are not required at this time - just your commitment.
The next area of support that you might consider is Advertising. Advertising in the Auction catalogue brings brand awareness to your business or product. Ads are available from a 1/4 page black and white to full page cover ads, which bring you the ultimate exposure.
Finally, if you are still unsure, then we encourage you to make a Cash gift to the event. Cash gifts are used towards purchasing items from our Wish List and supporting specific areas of the event.
At this time, with our dome having to be deflated for the upcoming storms, it would be remiss not to remind everyone that the funds from this year's event will go toward supporting the building of a brand new permanent athletic structure - thus relieving the need for the dome to be closed to our children year after year. Visit our Campaign website to see more details.
We would like to thank everyone who has already stepped up to either become a sponsor, advertise, or donate an item or cash. Your support is greatly appreciated, and we hope that all families will consider supporting this amazing evening that supports our children!
The Country Day School wishes to recognize and acknowledge the land on which the school operates. Our nearest Indigenous Nations are now the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and the Chippewas of Georgina Island. The Dish with One Spoon Wampum covenant is often cited as an example of the shared responsibility for caring for these lands among the Huron-Wendat, Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee peoples who would call these their traditional territories. CDS respects the relationship with these lands and recognizes that our connection to this land can be strengthened by our continued relationship with all First Nations, by acknowledging our shared responsibility to respect and care for the land and waters for future generations.
Founded in 1972, The Country Day School is a co-educational private school offering programs in JK-12 and located on 100 acres north of Toronto in King.
