Kaitlyn – Grade 8

“I love the people and the teachers – everyone’s really nice at CDS!”

Kaitlyn joined CDS this year in Grade 8 and played basketball during the first term. She went on to try a wide-range of extracurriculars, including Pottery, Cooking Class and Snakes & Lattes (board game club). She is enjoying all of her classes this year, English in particular with Mr. Fell and where they read and performed (an abbreviated version) of Macbeth.

Her advice to new students would be to understand and realize how much the teachers genuinely care about how you are doing and to try and just be yourself and you will find like-minded friends.

Kaitlyn is so happy to be a student at CDS. She was actively involved in the decision-making process and has just loved CDS from the moment she stepped foot on campus.
