Victor Mete ’16

Victor Mete ’16 was selected in the fourth round, 100th overall, in the 2016 NHL draft. He is an NHL defenseman and World Junior Gold Medalist. Victor attended CDS from Grades 2 to 10 before joining the London Knights where he tallied 105 points in 179 OHL games while also winning a Memorial Cup. He signed a three-year NHL entry-level contract with the Montreal Canadiens in 2017 before moving on to play with the Ottawa Senators and the Toronto Maple Leafs. While in Montreal, Victor teamed up with Dunn's famous smoked meat deli chain to provide 500 meals to front line healthcare workers in Montreal. Victor married fellow CDS grad and long-time girlfriend Courtney Petrachek ’16 in July 2022.
