Join us for Parent Yoga: April 12th
The CDS Parent Association is pleased to present an adult yoga class on Friday, April 12th from 8:45 am to 10:30 am. This class is open to all levels of practice, and even those who would like to try yoga for the first time. Admission is free but we ask all participants to sign up to reserve their space prior to April 9th.
The CDS Parent Association is pleased to present an adult yoga class on Friday, April 12th from 8:45 am to 10:30 am.
The class will be led by Lora and Nadia from BlissOm Yoga and Wellness Centre in Kleinburg. Both Nadia and Lora are certified 500hr yoga and meditation teachers and have hosted retreats all over the world including Costa Rica, Bali and Thailand. They invite you to join them for a calming hour of peace.

All participants will be required to sign a waiver ahead of time. All you need is comfortable clothing, a water bottle and a mat. We will have a limited number of mats available for those who do not have one - please indicate in your registration.

Land Acknowledgment
The Country Day School wishes to recognize and acknowledge the land on which the school operates. Our nearest Indigenous Nations are now the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and the Chippewas of Georgina Island. The Dish with One Spoon Wampum covenant is often cited as an example of the shared responsibility for caring for these lands among the Huron-Wendat, Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee peoples who would call these their traditional territories. CDS respects the relationship with these lands and recognizes that our connection to this land can be strengthened by our continued relationship with all First Nations, by acknowledging our shared responsibility to respect and care for the land and waters for future generations.
